Tengos uses templates to shape how your AI Summary is structured. Each template is designed for a specific type of meeting, so the summary focuses on what matters most for that context.
Available templates
| Template | Best For |
|---|---|
| Auto | Default — Tengos automatically selects the best-fit template based on meeting content |
| General | General-purpose meetings that don't fit a specific category |
| Lecture Notes | Educational sessions, classes, and academic presentations |
| Educational Content | Training sessions, onboarding, and learning content |
| Travel Guide | Travel-related discussions and trip planning conversations |
| Client Meeting | Client calls, check-ins, and account reviews |
| Team Meeting | Internal team syncs, standups, and project updates |
| Sales Pitch | Sales calls, product demos, and prospect meetings |
| Job Interview | Interview recordings and candidate debriefs |
How to select a template
By default, Tengos uses Auto — it analyzes the meeting content and applies the most appropriate template automatically.
To select a template manually:
- Open the meeting detail view from All Records.
- Go to the Summary tab.
- Click the Template selector.
- Choose the template that fits your meeting type.
- The summary regenerates using the selected template.
Tips
- Use Auto for most meetings — it performs well across a wide range of meeting types.
- If a summary feels too generic, try switching to a more specific template (for example, Client Meeting instead of General) and regenerating.
- Lecture Notes and Educational Content are particularly useful for students and trainers who need structured study materials.
Notes
- The output language of the summary can be set independently of the template.
