Symptoms: The Tengos extension opens and the Side Panel loads, but no transcript appears during an online meeting.
Steps to fix
- Confirm you have granted tab audio sharing permission when prompted. This permission is required for the extension to capture audio from the meeting tab.
- Reload the extension: click the extension icon and refresh.
- Make sure you are using Chrome 116 or higher. Earlier versions are not supported.
- Close and reopen the meeting tab, then restart the extension.
- Confirm that the meeting audio is playing in the browser tab itself — if the meeting is running in a native desktop app rather than the browser, the extension cannot capture its audio.
