Meeting link not working for guests

Symptoms: The guest sees an error when opening the shared link, or gets stuck in a password prompt loop.

Steps to fix

  • Confirm you have shared the correct link — copy it fresh from the Share dialog.
  • If you set a password on the meeting, make sure you have shared the password with the guest.
  • The guest should open the link in a desktop browser (Chrome is recommended).
  • Check that the meeting has not been deleted or moved to Trash. A deleted meeting's share link will not work.
