Silence Auto-Pause is a safeguard that prevents Tengos from recording extended periods of silence — for example, during a break or when a meeting is put on hold. After a defined period of inactivity, the recording pauses automatically.
How it works
- If Tengos detects 10 consecutive minutes of silence, it begins a countdown.
- A 5-second warning appears on screen before the recording pauses.
- If no audio is detected during the countdown, the recording pauses automatically.
- When the meeting resumes, click Resume in the banner to continue transcription.
Resuming a paused recording
- When the recording is paused, a banner appears at the top of the meeting view.
- Click Resume to restart transcription immediately.
